Updating your previously-made projects to the
latest Build
Applicability: SellFolio
4.0 Complete only

Explanation
NOTE: SellFolio 3.0 projects from any edition CANNOT be imported
into SellFolio 4.0 editions. See
this page for upgrade
details. You CAN import SellFolio 4.0 Basic and SellFolio 4.0
Client Projects projects into SellFolio 4.0 Complete.
This document describes how to update your
previously-made 4.0-based projects to the latest SellFolio 4.0 Build. You
don't have to follow these instructions for new 4.0-based projects that
you make using the latest build—you only have to do this for
previously-made 4.0-based projects. TO PROCEED, YOU MUST FOLLOW
THESE INSTRUCTIONS VERY PRECISELY. SOME STEPS WILL
APPLY—OTHERS WILL NOT.
Solution
1) Uninstall your existing SellFolio
edition.
2) Obtain the latest build. Do so
by emailing
support@sellfolio.com with the email address that your
originally ordered with, or your order number. After we verify
your original order, you will receive a download link, and you must
install that build. Please allow up to 24 hours for our
response. The link you receive will be valid for 24 hours
only.
3) Update the mm.swf file for each
of your previously-made projects. To do this, go into the Files folder
in your SellFolio installation, as shown below, and copy the
mm.swf file in that folder (DO NOT move that file out of the
folder, however):
C:
\Program Files
\SellFolio V4
EditionName
\Files <--go into
this folder and copy the mm.swf file. DO NOT
move it out.
Now, go into the Bin folder for each of your
projects, as shown below, and paste-in the mm.swf
file. NOTE: Do this for each of your projects:
C:
\SellFolios_V4
\YourProjectName
\Bin <--go into this
folder and paste-in the mm.swf file to overwrite the existing
mm.swf file.
4) To modify any projects made using any
4.0 edition on or prior to May 11, 2007 (before Build 39 was
issued), you will need to complete this step. Click the

5) To modify any projects made using any
4.0 edition on or prior to June 6, 2007 (before Build 40 was
issued), you will need to complete this step. Click the
following link for instructions:

6) SellFolio 4.0 Complete users only: To
modify any projects made on or prior to August 23, 2007, go to Step
2-F, click "Edit Advanced Project Settings, and then click "OK" to
update your sellfolio.html file.
7) Do a Test-Drive of your project to
verify that it works.

"Links." 8) Added a "click log" feature which writes a
