How can I adjust the timing of Slides while in Autoplay mode?

Applicability: SellFolio 4.0 Complete only

Explanation

First, the timing of images in the Intro Animation cannot be adjusted—the timing is fixed.

Second, the individual Slides in a Slide Module can be played in Autoplay mode, if your user clicks the Autoplay button.  This means that the Slides self advance.  The speed that Slides self-advance is governed by the following:

• If a given Slide DOES NOT have audio narration, the Slide advances after the default value of 4 seconds.  In SellFolio 4.0 Complete, you can change this default value  in Step 2-F.

• If a given Slide DOES have audio narration, the Slide advances after the audio narration MP3 file finishes playing.

Solution 1

In SellFolio 4.0 Complete, you can change the default Autoplay value of 4 seconds in Step 2-F.

Solution 2

In SellFolio 4.0 Complete, you can add audio narration to a given Slide.  If you don't want audio narration, you can "trick" SellFolio to have variable Slide timing by making a silent MP3 file of the required duration—then, in Live Layout mode, import that MP3 file into the Slide that should have that duration.  For instance, if Slide 1 should be 5 seconds with no audio narration, import a silent MP3 file that is 5 seconds in duration.  If Slide 2 should be 8 seconds with no audio narration, import a silent MP3 file that is 8 seconds in duration.
