 Knowledge Article 0302:
What are the recommended settings for recording .MP3 files?
Applicability: SellFolio
4.0 Complete and SellFolio 3.0 versions
_________________________________________________
Explanation 1
Recording .MP3 files can be rather technical, involving many
parameters. This article provides guidance on how to record
audio files that work best with SellFolio.
Solution 1
FOR VOICEOVER/AUDIO NARRATION: We recommend that you save your .MP3
file using the following settings: 24-bit, 22KHz, Mono.
FOR MUSIC: We recommend that you save your .MP3 file using the
following settings: 48-bit, 22KHz, Mono.
NOTE: If you are using looping background music, avoid using full
songs, which tend to be very large in file size. These full
songs take up a great deal of memory, and some computers may not be
able to handle it. Instead, use small music loops, which load
once, occupy very little memory, and tend to sound just as good.
Your looping background music should be no larger than 200K to
500K (0.2 megabytes to 0.5 megabytes) in file size to ensure that
your viewers can view your SellFolio project on the Internet. You can check out
SellFolio's MusicPacks, which are extremely affordable, or you
can buy looping background music from other vendors, as well.
